Budapest Art Factory (BAF) - founded in 2006 - is a not for profit, contemporary studio, exhibition and project space, installed in a 900m2 industrial hall in the capital of Hungary. In addition to organizing exhibitions, studio visits and panel discussions, BAF runs an international artist and curator residency program with the aim of establishing a platform for the dialogue of contemporary art. During the residency organic connections are not only forged with the network of local art professionals, but with those internationally acclaimed artists who are invited to collaborate on a short-term basis.
